I Passed!

Hey all!  I am so happy to share with you I graduated and passed my boards to become an advanced practice nurse- specifically a family nurse practitioner.  Thank you all so much for your encouragement through these last few years of grad school (and just in general!). I have to be a bit sappy here because it is just one of those milestones, ya know? I think about how much support I had throughout the program– from DJ and our family, friends (including y’all), other students, professors–and I’m feeling extremely thankful. I had many chats with God throughout this thing that sounded like, “Is this really what I’m supposed to be doing?”, and I had a heavy dose of imposter syndrome. Being at the end of it, I could not be more sure this path was the right decision, and while I know this will be a challenging transition, I could not be more excited.

I am now deep into my endocrine specialty program already (and loving it). It wraps up in August when I’ll be heading back to OH to join DJ.

I hope you all are well!! Sending so much love.

Mackenzie, MSN, FNP-BC (had to!)
