Jus’ Out Here Havin’ a Ball!

Hey, Everyone! Wowzas- long time, no seee! The last couple weeks have been an absolute whirlwind. I feel like I have just soo much to share- this may take multiple posts. We left off Sunday the 14th from our jots around SF. Monday the 15thWednesday the 17th I spent all day e’ryday chugging away on school work. Of course, Monday night Dancing with the Stars consumed the evening. But they didn’t even send anyone home! I’m sick of the participation trophies, haha. On Thursday the 18th I volunteered in the afternoon and then deep cleaned the apartment. Feels so refreshing to do that every couple weeks!

In the evening, my friend Dani came by to get ready for an event in SF. We actually heard about it from Venmo John on Sunday, as he was promoting it. It sounded like a tremendous event, a wonderful cause and a fun girls night. We were just sad Tammy couldn’t join us! As I mentioned in my last post, Dani is a traveling occupational therapist and is moving, so this was our last time to hangout together. My sister in law, Amy, joined us too!

This event was hosted by Spark– a “network of young professionals who invest to improve the lives of women around the world”. The theme was black and pink if ya can’t tell 😉 We realized when we got there that it was just one massive fundraiser, but still a fun time! I’m just totallly not used to settings like that haha.

Sista sista! I seriously can’t express how much I love living this close to my SIL. She is easily one of my all time favorite people to hang with.

img_0512

Dani and me <3 Ugh, I am going to miss her tooo. darn. much. Seriously always the best of memories with this one!

img_0513img_0510

Always always have to get snacks of course. They had the cutest little pass around dishes. The best thing I tried was a little cheesecake cup, but the picture came out a bit too blurry…. Not blog approved 😉

img_0507

We said hey to John and thanked him for telling us about such a great event!

img_0612

By the time the event was over, we needed real sustenance. We headed to Nob Hill Pizza & Shawerma to nosh on some pies!

On Friday the 19th, I studied big time for my midterms. Deej and I had a chill night at home while he worked on grad school interviews.

img_0530

Anyone else study on the treadmill?

Saturday the 20th, we decided to try out a new breakfast spot. There is nothing better to fuel up a long Saturday run than some yummy breakfast food.

img_0634img_0523This new Dive is called Toast Cafe & Grill– and we knew nearly immediately it would be a favorite.

img_0520

The menu is extensive- with alllll the yummies!

img_0521

I ordered their french garden skillet with egg whites. It hit the spot. You can’t see the hashbrowns underneath in this photo, but they were mighty tasty. I will say I feel kinda bad for not trying out their toast at TOAST (quite out of character for me), but next time, next time 😉 The skillet just sounded too darn good.

img_0522

Deej tried their South of the Border omelette, and he said he may like this place better than Bill’s…… *gasp*. I don’t know if I’m gonna go that far just yet.

img_0524

I do like their pancakes better than Bill’s though.. I have to admit! But nothing tops Bill’s french garden omelette or smoked salmon benny. Mmmm mmm!

img_0527img_0525

The service was impeccable too. We both cannot wait to go back.

In the afternoon I had a glorious long run! That evening Deej & I just had a chill evening. We watched the first episode of The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix. We weren’t sure how we felt about it at first, but now we are loving it!!

Sunday the 21st we went to Church in the morning. Afterward, I grabbed a much needed cup of coffee with Tammy. She knows all the best spots. I had never been to this fun little cafe called FlowerFlour before, but I am officially obsessed.

img_0532img_0533img_0535img_0536

Is this not the most intricately and eclectically decorated cafe you’ve ever seen?

img_0534img_0537img_0542img_0538

Such a great place to visit in the fall! We grabbed lattes and shared some scrumptious zucchini bread while having a great chat.

img_0539

After DJ was done “bumping out” at Church (tearing down the venue since we use a pop up site) we went to LazyDog, a restaurant we just love on Main Street Cupertino, for some good eats. He called me mid run, but I am always down for a snack break. Lol.

img_0543

I usually have a hard rule against ordering the same thing on a menu twice- but I can never resist ordering their seared ahi tuna over cauli mashed potatoes. Mmmm mmm!

img_0544

DJ had their fried chicken sandwich. All their food is too darn good! I kept stealing probably too many fries than he would have liked, hahah oops.

img_0635

I ordered the second half to go, but literally as soon as I got home I was itching to have the second half.

img_0104

And I finished the evening with the second half of that run and some beautiful views. I ended up running about 26 miles in two days (a 12-miler followed by a 14 miler Sunday (split into two parts). I’m currently gearing up for a marathon in January if my knee can handle it.  Also, I was stressed about taking my midterm in the morning this run helped calm me down a ton.

img_0547img_0546img_0548

I enjoyed some veggies, cheese, hummus, and pita chips to snack on post run + some Dexter with DJ.

img_0549

This is getting long so I’ll wrap it up here! Have a wonderful week, m’ friends!

Questions for you:

  • Favorite post run/ post workout snack?
  • Anyone else love “leftovers” as much as I do?

  1. Love the pumpkin pillow you have on your couch! It’s so festive without being bright orange.

Those pink shoes are adorable! I never think to buy colored heels but those seem like they would be worth it. Sounds like a fun event too, and totally agree that after some events you need to stop by a pizza place in fancy clothes for a slice 🙂

Yes to the marathon!! At first the thought of a January marathon sounded awful but then I remembered you live in Northern CA so January does not mean snow and frozen everything lol. Can’t wait to follow along for that! I hope DJ’s killing his grad school interviews and midterms went well for you Mackenzie!

    1. Hi, Maureen! Thanks girl 🙂 I get SO pumped to pull out that pillow every year!

I never get colored heels either- but these ones spoke to me <3 LOL. I figured they would be great with some skinny jeans too to make them more casual. I'm hoping I'll be able to get some good use out of them. And alwayyyys gotta have pizza- especially after something like that!

Hahah- yes marathons here are a bit different- I remember thinking the same thing when we first moved!! I was like, "what?! How are there alllll these races in the winter?!" I just hope my knee cooperates. I've had some issues with it flaring up lately- but I think it may be just overkill & because I desperately need new kicks. Fingers crossed!

Thanks so much! Have a great week 🙂

  2. sounds like a good few days and lots of tasty foods. Got to love finding a dive place that is tasty. My oldest son almost always asks to eat his leftovers the minute we walk through the door. I think he’s crazy, but I guess he is not the only one to do that.

    1. Yes the dives are always the best!!!

Hahaha- yep, he is so not alone! and glad to hear neither am I! Have a great rest of your week 🙂

  3. Ooooh love those pink shoes! I am alwaysss eating my leftovers too soon – I always think I’ll save them for lunch the next day but end up having a second dinner instead!

  4. Better than Bill’s??? Really??? And you all look so attractive at the gala, so much fun to see all of you with Venmo John!! Love love all the pics, thanks!!! And love you my dear! Love, your Ohio Mom

    1. Right?! I think I gave him a look of horror when he said that… how dare he even breathe something be better than Bill’s! Lol! Love you!! Thanks for always reading 🙂

    1. Yay – I’m so glad you enjoyed, Kalpana! I think you would particularly like FlowerFlour! Such a neat little spot 🙂

  5. Girl, you all are stunnn-ing! I love each unique black outfit. I have hardly ever attended a real swanky event, so that would be an interesting experience for me.

Even though you didn’t order toast, your meal looks scrumptious! You just set yourself to have to go back, which is what I would’ve done. 😉

That café! Gosh, so fun, eclectic, and I just love their autumn pumpkin display and cakes! Your lattes look really fun as well. What a gem of a place.

It’s hard to believe DJ would say another café is better thank Bill’s! I have to say it sounds ah-mazing. I wish I could fly out and try both with you to decide! 😉

I live for leftovers! Chili, spaghetti, soup, so many things get better with time. Leftovers are so delish to eat as-is or morphed into a different dish. They help us with packing lunches for work too!

    1. Aw, thanks, girl! <3 It was so much fun.. but I do have to say I felt pretty out of place!

YES! Ahh you always have the best perspective.

Oh my goodness- you would have lovvved that place! I want to go back and try more baked goods because the zucchini bread we had was just out of this world. I can't believe I forgot to snatch a photo! Who am I? lol.

hahah- yesss, I so wish you could be the judge between the two too ! So many delicious options on both! Y'all really should take a little vacay here some time 🙂

YES me too- leftovers are the besssttt- you said it exactly right- so fun to create new things with the leftovers. DJ knows I sneak leftovers from restaurants into our dinners all the time haha. Remember that mac and cheese place we went? I snuck in some leftovers into a grilled cheese and fed it to him. He caught me. Hahah.

  6. It looks like you guys had such a great time at that event! It looks fun too! 😀 That breakfast spot and food looks amazing! I love all the pictures you shared. AND ALL THE FOOD looks yummy. haha. 😛 I’m not usually a leftover fan unless it’s pizza.

      1. Oh totally!!! Chinese food is better after one night after all the food marinades in the yummy sauces!!

    1. We had such a blast! Can’t go wrong with girl time, right?! Ahh the food was too delicious. I wish I could share with you! If you are ever in the Bay Area lemmee know, and I’ll take ya! Oooo pizza leftovers are my all time fave leftovers toooo! xo

  7. I’m so tempted to eat my leftovers right away too – haha! Nice to know I’m not the only one.

You looked beautiful at that event! Any interest in sharing your beauty/makeup tips on a future post? I love how you stick more to the natural side most of the time and then glam it up for nights out.

    1. Ahhh yessss! I was just gonna say glad I’M not the only one! haha.

Oh my GOODNESS! Susie- you just made my evening- I don’t think anyone has ever asked me to share makeup tips/tricks.. probably because I truly know so little about it – but I’d be more than happy to share! <3 Thank you so much!!

  8. I’ll definitely take DJ’s omelet.

Studying on the treadmill is not a thing for me. If I focused my brain hard enough to study anything, I’d DEFINITELY fall off.

    1. Hahah- he LOVED that omelette.

Lol- I may have tripped a few (dozen) times while studying, but it actually passes the time super fast surprisingly!

    1. Hi, Shan!! Always excited to see your icon pop up on my feed 🙂 Thank you for your sweet words :)! Breakfast is the BEST meal of the day- and ya can never go wrong with a good skillet! Do you have a favorite breakfast food? I definitely grew up on leftovers too- we would have at least a day per week where we would just eat everything up! Always feels rewarding to make sure no food goes to waste. One of my biggest pet peeves!

  9. I love your dress!! It looks like a fun time. I always know that I’m going to be hungry after reading your posts and now I’m trying to figure out a good snack! 😉 I eat an Rx Bar before Pilates because it’s early in the morning, but I come home to have my avocado and egg toast. I’m not really sure what type of snack I’d have if it were a different time of day. I love, love leftovers (and I’m usually ready for them the same day too!) xx.

    1. Hi, Amy!! Thank you so much 🙂

Hehe- I hope you found something yummy to munch on after this!! I LOVE both those- Rx and avocado/egg toast. Cannot go wrong! What’s your favorite Rx bar flavor? I think I like chocolate sea salt best, but blueberry is a close second!

Ahhh yes! I have discovered we are so not alone in eating our leftovers the same day. LOVE it! Have a great weekend, Amy ! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

      1. My go to Rx is the Peanut Butter Chocolate, but I do love those other two. I really liked the coconut chocolate too, but the PB Choc and Chocolate Sea Salt come in larger boxes at the store, thereby reducing the per bar price.

      2. Oh yes those flavors are great tooo! Have you tried any of the holidays ones? I am just not as big of a fun as the regulars

  10. Hi Mack! Wow, what an incredible week it sounds like 🙂 I love your updates, they’re so vibrant with amazing photos. So glad you are training for a marathon in January – this is an awesome way to start the new year. I appreciate you so much. Hope your midterms went well, as well as DJ’s applications to grad school. (How exciting.)

You are a breath of fresh air, and I’m grateful to know you Mack. And one of my fav post run foods is buckwheat bread, pancakes, or paleo muffins – YUM.

Have a blessed week. Know that I’m always sending you the best.
    Debbie

    1. Hi, Debbie!! It truly brings the BIGGEST smile to my face when I see your beautiful face pop up on my notifications! Thank you for your super kind words always. You are a bright light.

Ahh thank you, thank you!! Midterms went sooo well & DJ actually has an interview for his first choice grad school this weekend!!

You have no idea how much this comment made my evening. Thank you, Debbie! Thankful for you. One of my longest and dearest blog friends <3

Have a blessed week too! xo

  11. That FlowerFlour cafe was so cute – the food treats looked as awesome as usual and I’ve done that too – even sneaking some on the way home … really?! You are very photogenic Mackenzie – you looked stunning in that black dress and those pink heels!

    1. Hi, Linda!! Isn’t it just the darlingest (not a word, hehe) cafe?! I am hoping to go back sometime soon and try more yummy goods.
Aw! Wow, thank you so much!! I had to whip something together last second so that is very kind of you to say!! <3 <3

    1. Thank you so much, Diane!!! So sweet of you to say and stop in here. Hope you are having a beautiful week 🙂

  12. Hey Mack! You looked absolutely STUNNING in your black mini dress! I’ve never attempted trying studying on a treadmill although I guess I could try? Sounds difficult though haha!! Hope you’re having a blessed week! xoxo Steph

    1. Hi Steph!! Girl, thank you so much!!! You are too sweet <3 <3

Haha- I have studied/read hard cover books on the tready since high school. Everyone thinks I'm cray, but your body and eyes do adjust and learn how to do it! I've only tripped... a couple times 😉 Thank you SO much for stopping by! I am so sorry I haven't reached out yet- but I hope you are having a blessed week too, love! you are amazing! xo

  13. Whew, you have been busy! There’s nothing like a good deep clean every few weeks! I love the picture of you with the pizza… You look so happy! I love me some leftovers, too! They are the best!

    1. Hi, Allie! Thank you so much girl! <3

Agreed, leftovers are THE best! I'm so excited to have some with thanksgiving right around the corner- woohoo! xo

  14. I love leftovers so much that I’m looking to bake my family a Thanksgiving dinner BEFORE Thanksgiving… just so we’ll have leftover stuffing, turkey, and veggies in the house (since I don’t host and therefore don’t get the leftovers. HA). And I’m the same way… I’ll pack up a to-go box and then eat it that same day at home. No guilt! Ha, ha!
I love peanut butter for a post workout energy snack!

    1. YAAASS. Wait that is the most amazing idea!! I am cooking the full spread for the first time ever this year (eeek!) I am so excited, but also a bit nervous (especially about the turkey!). Do you do mostly the traditional dishes?

Haha yesssssssss. Okay after making this post I discovered more people than not eat their to-go box that same day. LOVE that. No shame at all.

Ooo yess- PB is my go-to post workout too! I like to do a big ole scoop of it right after a workout. Yum!

      1. Ooh, I can’t wait to hear how your Thanksgiving dinner comes out!! Do you have crockpots? You can totally utilize those to simplify things, if needed! 🙂 I’ve never hosted Thanksgiving, BUT I make the spread every year for my family. (So basically all the dishes, but no pressure). HA! Creating a meal plan with cook times is my biggest tip, because then I can put the foods in order and write down times to start each dish. It usually helps me get the foods all ready around the same time.
I totally cheat by making a stuffing from a box, because Trader Joe’s makes THE best. (I sprinkle in craisins, so that it’s a bit fancy. Ha, ha). And then I use my crockpots for some of the veggies. I have a great baby carrot recipe that I make every year, and you basically throw it together and then let it cook while you can be busy with other things. (Let me know if you want the recipe). 🙂 I also roast the butternut squash in the oven the day before and then just reheat it on Thanksgiving. The roasting brings out the sweet flavor and then you can just mash it and season it with butter, thyme, and sage. It tastes really good the next day and no one will know that you are reheating it. (Those are just a few of my tips). 🙂 I can’t wait to see your pics and hear about how it went and what your meal plan was! You are going to ROCK it!! It’s a lot of work to host (I host Easter every year), but it’s definitely special to spoil people with a great meal!! 🙂

      2. Totally know what you mean!!

Ahhhh I cannot wait to find this stuffing! Sometimes the “cheat” ways are the best ways– I personally prefer cranberry sauce from the can than homemade. lol! Same with yams! I would LOVE that stuffing recipe *heart eyes*!!

Oh that’s genius with the butternut squash. I should see what I can make the day before so the day of I can just focus on the final touches and everything!

I am so excited!!!! Thank you so much for all the awesome tips, Nicole 🙂

  15. Aw, wait, what did you do for volunteer work?! That’s so awesome of you to do even when you’re so overloaded. ♡

That’s so cool Venmo John invited you to that fundraiser & you guys got to see him again!! You ladies look beautiful in those black dresses. ♡

Breakfast at Toast looks phenomenal! My mouth dropped when I read that DJ said it was better than Bill’s! I know how much you guys love that place!!

FlowerFlour looks insane!! Those masks are freaking me out a bit!! What kind of lattes did you guys order?! They look interesting!!

Oh we have a couple LazyDog’s here! We went once but I can’t remember much besides all the dog posters & paintings everywhere lol. That ahi tuna dish looks freakin’ delish & I’m laughing at your little sneaky face heating up your leftovers. 😂 & again, I am incredibly impressed with how long you can run for! I am out of breath just thinkin’ about it!!

Great post as always, Mack!!! Thanks for keeping us updated on your fun-foodie-filled life!! ♡♡♡

    1. I seriously love that nothin’ sneaks past you 😉 I haven’t really talked about it much on the blog at all yet .. but I volunteer with the Boys and Girls club of America. I am currently working with 3rd Graders and mentoring a high schooler. I just love it. Tomorrow she is presenting her speech at the big gala- so I’m like a proud big sister- I can’t wait to hear about it. I think in my next post I’ll share a bit more about it 🙂 It’s becoming a big part of my week to week and part of the reason why I have been off the grid more than usual!

Thank you, love! It was a fun night. A bit out of my element, but with my girls it was a great time!

teheh- I will say the masquerade masks were so out of place- but it was so eclectic in there I almost wasn’t surprised! haha.

Ahhh if you have a lazy dog I think you’d love the tuna!! They have so many yummy options there. They have an awesome brunch from the looks of it, so we are gonna try to make that soon.

Thanks so much, Hunida! Always LOVE reading your comments! xo

      1. Awww!! That’s so sweet, Mack! <3 I can't wait to hear more about it if you do decide to fill us in a bit in your next post. 🙂

The masks would have definitely spooked me out a bit but I do like how the cafe is decorated. Super fun. 😀 & I'll definitely order that tuna if we ever go back to Lazy Dog!

        <3 <3

  16. Yay a Mack post!
Oh my gosh I just spat out my coffee. Haha yasss girl I agree! Or the good ones getting sent home! Sigh…
Girl you looked amazing! What a fun event! And to get an invite from Venmo John himself! Score!
I LOVE that! It is amazing when you can have the relationships! I feel the same way about my SiL!
That skillet looks amazing! And Dj’s omelet looks amazing!
Ahhh ALL the food! Now I am hungry!
That coffee shop is adorns! You know how I love my coffee shops!
Girl you are fierce! I Love your dedication! I think the New York Marathon is in your future! (Which is happening this weekend!)
And I am sure you nailed your midterms! You are amazing beauty! I hope you have an incredible weekend! <3

    1. Hahaha yesss. I thought it was almost brutal putting that in there, but I just HAD to! It’s kinda nuts how all the good ones keep getting sent home. Honestly, it’s a popularity contest.

Isn’t the SIL relationship amazing? She’s just someone I feel zero judgement from and that I can be totally myself with.

Ahhh NYC marathon is on my list ! I’d loveee to do that race one day. Hope you have a wonderful weekend too, girl! xo

  17. Love your couch setup! Cute pillows!

That’s so cool that you all got to attend the fundraiser!

Sometimes I have pre-workout dessert….hahaha I workout after work so sometimes I feel like I can use my evening dessert as my snack so I don’t end up eating dessert close to bedtime. #priorities

I do love leftovers, especially at Thanksgiving (duh! Ha!).

    1. Thanks so much, girl!

Yessss- wait I do the same thing!! I love something sweet for some sugar before. It gives ya energy!

Heck yea! I cannot wait for this thanksgiving. I’m extra excited for it this year! woohoo!

  18. Oh my gosh, I tend to eat my restaurant leftovers not long after I get home too. (If I have any. These days it seems like the portion sizes are smaller so I can usually eat my entire plate in one go).

That breakfast place looks so nice! I wish we had something like that here. Of course, I’m a late riser, so I’m never awake during breakfast time, but I’ll eat breakfast foods at any time of the day. The only breakfast food places we have in my town are chains like Denny’s, IHop, and Waffle House.

    1. Hehe- yessss so glad you do too! I thought I was the only one, so good to hear I’m not from so many people here!

Ahh I feel ya, girl! Everyone in CA seems to wake up late so these places are usually open at least until 3 pm for breakfast/brunch. Hope you get to try sometime! When I lived in Indiana IHOP was my faveeee. Still love that place! Do you have Cracker Barrels near you? I miss that restaurant so much!

  19. You are such a worker Mackenzie! It is nice to get the place all spick and span . It takes Me a while to get to it sometimes but once I start I am in full clean tunnel vision mode until it is done. What a great event to attend for women and to go there with two of your faves in Dani and Amy. I am sure you will miss Dani a lot. It has to be fun having your SIL so close . I love your LBD the lace detail is so cute! You are going to have to try the toast at toast next time! Flour flower is a nice place. You have so many unique restaurants , bakeries cafe’s! You are a serious runner , best wishes in trying the marathon! I am guilty of being a chips snacker(dont tell anyone shhh!) I do like leftovers but we are trying to eliminate them as much a s possible when cooking at home , but its hard to do. Have a great day, Terri xo.

    1. Awww thanks, Terri! I do feel like I’m burnin’ the candle at both ends as of late. I am in a season where I’m having to learn to say “no” because I’m exhausted, lol. But it’s ALL good stuff!

Yesss- I know what you mean about the cleaning tunnel mode. I love it- I like to put on podcasts and just go to town. Best feeling having that spic and span house. If only it lasted longer than a few days haha.

Ah thank you! I was excited for you to see this dress 🙂 I thought you’d like it!

Hehe- I am a chip snacker too.. particularly pita chips. cannot get enough! What is your chip of choice?! Hope you are having a great day too. Thanks for stopping by! xo

      1. Saying no needs to be done for one’s own sanity! Podcasts are a great way to go, I need to find some I would like . Aww you were excited for Me to see the dress? I am honored and you look gorgeous in it! I like pita chips too but am guity of snacking on kettle chips more often ! Take care Mackenzie, Terri xo.

      2. I totally agree <3 <3

Aw yes- you are one of my fave fashionistas! I always look forward to your thoughts on my dresses! <3

Oooo you cannot go wrong with kettle chips! I can't even buy them because they wouldn't last a day- hehe. 😉

      3. I am honored to be one of your fashionistas Mackenzie! It is better you leave the kettle chips at the store! Why cant I do that?? Take care, hugs, Terri xo.

      4. 🙂 lol, I will say I can’t leave the tollhouse cookies in the store (as a batch is cooling on my stove right now)…. hehe. Have a great week!!! xo

  20. So much in this post Mackenzie– First– You looked so truly pretty in that black dress! And that brunch looked super! I’m always up for pancakes! And I’m wondering how your mid term went– I have a feeling you did really well. Always fun to read your posts! What are you doing for Thanksgiving?? I’m sure you’ll find good things to eat! hugs!

    1. Aw, thank you tons, Rhonda. 🙂 Toast was absolutely amazing! DJ and I were just saying we should try to go back sometime this week- maybe Monday because he has the day off work!
Ah thank youuu- the mid term went so well!! I actually got 100% which I was SHOCKED about. I couldn’t believe my eyes, but I was so thankful.

For thanksgiving DJ and I are just having a nice quiet day at home, but my sister in law is joining us! I am so excited because I’ve never cooked for thanksgiving before so this year I am going ALL out! I already have the full menu set. I am soo excited. What are your plans?

Thank you for stopping by 🙂 XO

      1. Hi Mackenzie! Hooray for 100%’s!! All that study paid off. Sounds like a cozy Thanksgiving. We’re meeting up with all our kids in Ojai– I’m so excited!! Staying in Ari Bnb’s so I’m not sure about the food will come out– but I’m just happy to be together. Happy Thanksgiving to you and DJ! xox

      2. Thank youuuu 🙂

That sounds sooo delightful, Rhonda!! I hope you have the most wonderful time- knowing you the food will be fabulous no matter what 😉

  21. Ooh that’s so cool you got to attend that fundraiser and that you got to see Jon again! 😊 and you look beautiful in that LBD and those cute pink heels!
And I think that’s so funny how you’re studying on the treadmill, how do you even do that?! I think I would trip and fall lol. Also, I hope those midterms went welll!!
I felt the same way about haunting of hill house when my cousin kept telling me “you have to watch the first episode with us”. So we did,.it was good! But because it’s a scary show we don’t know when we can keep watching it lol.
That flower flour place is so neatly decorated I love it!
And I can’t believe you’ll be running a marathon on January! That’s one of my BL items but I doubt I will ever be able to do it, I have a bad knee and bad lungs, my lung capacity sucks but it’s getting better the more I practice yoga lol.

    1. Thank you, love!!

Hahha- I have done it since high school with the treadmill studying so probably just trained my eyes to do it over years? I’m not sure, but I swear I remember the info better when I run & read!

Maybe next year in October you can pick up Haunting of Hill House- so good for that time of year!

Aww, I relate on the bad knee- I’m praying it stays in line until after the marathon- it’s been flaring a bit lately. And yesss- yoga is SO good for expanding lung capacity- I didn’t even know that until I started.

      1. Well at least you have found a study method that works for you! 🙂
Well I wouldn’t mind watching it right now but it’s hard because Ciel is around lol.
Awh well I hope you’re able to, just don’t push yourself too hard!!

      2. aww thanks, girl- if it ends up being too bad we did buy insurance on the race just in case!!

  22. First, you look amazing and I’m in love with your heels 😍 I notice it matches your lipstick shade as well!

I’m not sure how you’ve managed to both exercise and study at the same time, but go you!

The Haunting of Hill House.. granted I’ve only watched two episodes, but it is insanely freaky that I’m not sure I want to continue! 😂 Good to hear you’re enjoying it though! 🙂

    1. Oh my gosh, thank you, Sophia!!! <3

It is SO freaky. No way I could watch it on my own- I have to watch it with my husband and even then I was closing my eyes and plugging my ears through a big chunk of it!! hahah. Hope you are having a good week, love!
